Bought as a set - each fragrance is my “fav”

Perfect size, strength & longevity. I feel this line is worth the price (which I feel is very reasonable). Look forward to trying more distinctive scents.

So does my husband attack me when I wear this? No such luck. But is it completely lovely? Solid yes! People will walk into my office and say "It smells so good in here!" Those that have figured out it's my perfume comment on it every time they come near me. It's my favorite, love the body oil too!!

This has all the notes of fragrance that I love and am drawn to! I smell amazing all day!!

When I wear perfume, typically do it to be someone else. Someone more interesting, someone smarter, someone more powerful. I tend to go after niche perfumes that convey my depth of personality and uniqueness, hipster sophistication. In short, my perfume selections are aspirational, based in insecurities, rather than reflective of who I am.

But the thing about smelling like someone else is that it's obvious to you when you smell like someone else.

When I first tested Missing Person at Sephora, I was buying a fragrance for my sister's birthday present. I sprayed some on myself, but couldn't make out much because of the cacaphony of scents within the store. I bought her a bottle of something light and citrusy, and walked outside. In the fresh air, Missing Person hit me with a jolt. It smelled like my own skin, like hugging my mother at the end of the day, the scent of her incense while she prayed. It smelled deeply familiar, and yet still attractive. And so I immediately went back inside and exchanged her gift for 2 bottles of MP, one for each of us.

I've never had a fragrance before that added a layer of me to me. A fragrance that affirmed that it was beautiful to envelope yourself in your own scent, to give yourself a hug. That's what spraying on Missing Person has become to me - an act of self love.

Because I realize now that the missing person was me.
