Afterglow

This is definitely one of my favorites from Phlur and they've had a really strong past year or so. It opens juicy and bright, like a sweet tart apricot and a touch of floral - and then slowly fades down into a more subtle cozy skin scent. Not too musky or spicy at all, the amber comes through but not aggressively at all. It's so well balanced that I feel I would like it in any season without it feeling cloying. It is a very happy fragrance to me, and I like it a lot.

Afterglow by Phlur is a vibrant, bold, and beautifully bright fragrance. It opens with a lively burst of citrus and sweetness that feels energetic right from the start. The added floral touch of lavender creates a soft, magnetic aura, further enriched by a smooth hint of vanilla. As it dries down, the scent becomes even more pleasant with a warm, woodsy undertone.

The intensity is moderate, with a longevity of about 4-5 hours. Overall, it's a lovely fragrance from the first spray to the final dry-down.

Afterglow is the epitome of the first spark when a connection forms and it's also fiery yet comforting. I wore this on a first date and I got so many compliments on it. This is long lasting and is not overwhelming. I also like that I can carry it around if I need to freshen up during the day. The fragrance notes are not what I'm used to but I was pleasantly surprised.

I am new to Phlur and Afterglow was the first scent I tried from the brand. I honestly did not know what to expect but I ended up loving it. It's perfect for days when I want something comfy and easy, like brunch, shopping, or any daytime activity really. The scent starts out with a fresh, slightly fruity brightness that feels really uplifting. When it settles, the ambrette comes through and makes it feel cozy. The lavender milk adds a smooth, creaminess that feels really calming. The sandalwood shows up in the dry down and gives this such a nice warm base that lasts pretty much the entire day. Trying this made me want to explore more from Phlur.
