For starters, I LOVE this scent.
My husband learned of PHLUR last year, so we tried the sample pack and fell in love with the brand.
Since then, I always get him a new bottle of Father Figure whenever he runs out, so I was super stoked to see they started offering a larger size, so for Christmas I ordered the larger size.
Today, upon finally opening and using it, my husband asked me if I could smell alcohol, so I took a whiff of the bottle and it smelled almost entirely like alcohol, and very little of the actual scent.
I’m unsure if the formula had changed, but the original sized Father Figure smelled way better than the 100mL bottle.
He also had to reapply much more from the larger bottle because of the alcohol smell and the fact that very little of the actual scent seems to be contained in the 100mL bottle.
Although he was quite disappointed, we still love this brand.
I’m hoping the formula doesn’t change whereas I will continue to keep ordering the small bottle as opposed to the big one.

Receny discovered this scent and I am obsessed!! It makes me feel so cozy and warm when I’m wearing it. I find myself constantly reaching for it. I just wish the longevity is better. I’m going thru a big bottle fast.
